May 2010 to present. Research in oganic synthesis (transition metal-catalyzed transformations and the synthesis of biologically important natural products).
Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute:
August 2007 to April 2010. Enantioselective C-H Activation with Prof. Jin-Quan Yu. Achieved the first enantioselective C-H activation and finished several ligand-promoted C-H activation reactions.
Postdoctoral Fellow at UC San Diego:
October 2006 to July 2007. Studies in organic synthesis with Prof. Michael S. VanNieuwenhze. Achieved the total synthesis of a panel of PC-containing oxidized phospholipid analogs, which can be used in LIPID-MAPS project.

June 2006 to October 2006. Research in organic synthesis of bio-active natural products such as saponins and oligosaccharides.
