Profile

Dr. Wang received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2003, 2005, and 2009, respectively. 

In 2003 he became a Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Power Transmission and Control, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He became a Postdoctoral Associate in 2009 and a Research Associate in 2015 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, where he joined the NSF Engineering Research Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP). 

In 2016 he was selected in the "Hundred Talents Program of Zhejiang University" and became a tenure track Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University, where he joined the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Power and Mechatronic Systems. 

His research focuses on the modeling, analysis and control of hydraulic systems for heavy duty vehicles and renewable energy.
