Dr. Wu received the B.S.degree in chemistry from Shandong Polytechnic University, Jinan, and the M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in chemistry from Dalian University of Technology in 2012, Dalian, China. His Ph.D. research with Professor Xiaobing Lu included development new Organo-metalic catalyst systems, synthesis CO2-based crystalline and functional polymers. He then joined the research group of Donald J. Darensbourg at Texas A&M University as a postdoctoral fellow where he continued to develop new CO2-based polymers. One year later, Dr. Wu joined Prof. Paul Nealey's research group (2013-2015) as a postdoc in the university of chicago, where his reseach interest was foucing on the physics and self-assembly behavior of block copolymer thin films, the behavior in the context of supramolecular structures and the use of polyelectrolytes with a specific focus on its application in the field of nanolithography. From Oct. 2015, He started as an assistant professor at the department of polymer science and engineering at Zhejiang University.

Dr. Wu is interested in the materials evolved from the nature. His research is in the area of supramolecular materials, polymer synthesis, coordination chemistry and self-assembly behavior of block copolymer.

Research work

1. Polymer chemistry 2. Degradable plastics 3. Directed Self-assembly of block copolymer
