  Prof.Dr. Jie Fan received his Ph.D. degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, in 2004 and is now a full Professor at Chemistry Department at Zhejiang University. He served as the committee of Chinese Zeolite Association (Chinese Chemical Society), Young Scientists Committee (Chinese Chemical Society), Nano-materials and Nano-devices Committee (Chinese Material Research Society). Dr. Fan is also the recipient of the 2006 National Top100 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations, 2010 Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University, 2011 Chinese Chemical Society young chemist award, and 2012 NSFC fund as excellent investigators. He published > 100 peer-reviewed papers (>5000 citations) and holds 10 Chinese patents, one US patent and one Australia Patent in the area of heterogeneous catalysts and hemostatic agents. He is also the founder of Zeolite-Innovation Medical Technology Corporation (Hangzhou), whose mission is developing new generation of bio-inorganic hemostatic agent for stabilizing life-threatening injuries.
