Dongxiao LI was born in Zhejiang province, P.R. China, in 1976. He received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering, the M.S. degree in communication and electronic systems, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering, all from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, P.R. China, in 1997, 2000, and 2004, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, and Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Information Network Technology. He is a senior member of China Institute of Communications, a member of IEEE Signal Processing Society and Computer Society.
He teaches courses on Digital Image Processing, Data Analysis and Algorithm Design, and Radio Frequency Communication Circuits. His research interests span the areas of Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Mixed Reality. His research work is devoted to Three-Dimensional Television in recent years. He has been the principal investigator of several projects funded by the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China, Science Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the National Science and Technology Major Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The research results have been published in a number of international journals and conference proceedings, and granted 21 invention patents by the State Intellectual Property Office of P.R. China.
