Profile

Zhiyun Lin is currently a full professor at the Department of Systems Science and Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China.

He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada, in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the same department at University of Toronto. He joined the Department of Systems Science and Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University in 2007 as a Research Professor.

He has been a visiting professor at: The University of Tokyo (Japan), University of Cagliari (Italy), The Australian National University (Australia), University of Newcastle (Australia), University of Technology Sydney (Australia).

He is a senior member of IEEE, a member of IEEE Control Systems Society, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE Communication Society, and a memember of SIAM. He is an associated editor of Elsvier journal--Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems.
