YANG Huan, Associate Professor,

Dr. Huan Yang received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering & its Automation and Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2003 and 2008, respectively. From January 2009 to March 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University. In March 2011, he became a faculty member in Zhejiang University as a Research Associate. In December 2012, he became an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University. From April 2012 to April 2013, he conducted joint research in Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. as the Oversea Researcher of New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Tokyo, Japan.

      His research interests include power electronics and motor drives, and grid-connected converter in Microgrids. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 papers at Transactions or Journals and international conferences. He holds one 3 Chinese patents and several Chinese patents pending. He is a Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and IEEE Power & Energy Society.
