Dr. Hao Ran, Doctor supervisor of Zhejiang University, Senior Member of IEEE, Seniot Member of OSA / SPIE, member of SOIE. Dr. Hao won the French National Scholarship in 2007, received his Ph.D. degree from the Université Paris-Sud XI in 2010 and the second doctoral degree (optics) in Wuhan Optoelectronics National Laboratory in 2011. He was awarded the ”qiushi” young scholars of Zhejiang University in 2011, the Zhejiang University outstanding young teachers of "Zijin plan" in 2012, the Young Scientist Award of the International Radio Union in 2014, and won the first prize of “ISEE College Teaching Skills Competition”. Dr. Hao presided over two National Natural Science Funds, one Zhejiang Province outstanding youth fund, participated in one national major basic research project, and has published more than 60 papers.
At present, Dr. Hao mainly engaged in the basic research based on two-dimensional optical materials and silicon-based micro-nano-optical system.

Hao guided undergraduate Song Mingzhao (now at the Moscow University) in 2012. His graduation design was rewarded one hundred excellent papers by Zhejiang University, and published a SCI paper;
Du Wei (currently at Case Western Reserve University in the United States) received a second-class Doctoral Forum Award from Fudan University in 2013;
Graduate Jin Jiamin obtained graduate student state scholarship in 2014;
Doctoral student Peng Xiliang received the Best Student Paper Award of the Optics and Optoelectronics Conference.
