Summary

Dr. Jean-Charles Ribierre is professor at the College of Optical Science and Engineering in Zhejiang University. The research activities of his laboratory focus on the engineering and physics of organic light-emitting semiconductor materials and devices, including organic field-effect transistors, OLEDs and organic semiconductor lasers. His current activities are highly supported by the Hundred Talents program of Zhejiang University, aiming at the development of a novel organic semiconductor laser diode technology. Dr. Jean-Charles Ribierre has been co-author of 5 patents, 3 book chapters and over 80 publications in peer-reviewed top international journals including Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Science Advances, Nature Materials, Nature Photonics and Nature Communications.


Research work

Welcome to the Organic Photonics Laboratory website. Our research activities focus on the engineering and physics of organic semiconductor materials and devices. In addition to being a rapidly growing and very active field of research, these remarkable materials open new directions in optoelectronics and can be used for ultrathin flexible displays, printed electronics, solar cells and compact laser sources.
