Prof. Fei WANG received his Bachelor degree in Thermal Power Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong Univerisity in 1995, and Ph.D degree in Engineering Thermophycics from Zhejiang University in 2000. From 2001 to 2002, he worked in National Center for Scientific Research of France for Post-Doctor for one year. Since 2007 he has been a Professor at Institute for Thermal Power Engineering of the Energy Engineering Department of Zhejiang University. He is the general secretary of the international cooperation committee of Chinese Society of Power Engineering. His research interests currently include thermal treatment of the solid waste, waste water sludge treatment, pollution control and combustion measurement technique. He obtained more than 20 research funds from NSFC (Natural Science Foundation of China), MST (Ministry of Science and Technology), NSFZJ (Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province) and other industrial companies. He has international cooperation research with Stanford University and Fuji Electric. He published more than 50 scientific papers in peer-review international journals such as Combustion and Flame, Fuel, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Journal of Heat Transfer-Transactions of the ASME, Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy & Radiative Transfer, Optics Letters, Applied Optics, Measurement Science and Technology. He own 12 Chinese patents. He has been awarded the second-class national prize for progress in science and technology of China in 2006.
