Academic Focus:

Cancer is an aggressive and complicated disease characterized by poor prognosis and lack of effective therapeutic options. It is well known that colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common causes of morbidity and mortality globally. Our major research interests includes: (1) cell signaling regulation in CRC pathogenesis; (2) transcriptional and post-translational modifications contributing to CRC tumorigenesis; (3) investigating the molecular mechanisms by using genetically engineered mouse models; (4) screening potential biomarkers based on the analysis of the molecular profiling and clinical parameters from patient tissues and plasma specimens.
