Profile

Dr. and prof. Xuecheng Wu is with State Key lab Clean Energy Utilization, Institute of Thermal Power Engineering, College of Energy Engineering at Zhejiang University, his main research activities are involved with advanced measurement method and instrumentation for multiphase flow, combustion, heat and mass transfer, pollutant emission.

  • 2007.7-up to now, Digital in-line holographic microscope technique and it's application in micro channel flow diagnostics; Development of on-line PIV system to the measurement of pneumatic transportation in industrial pipes; Study on particle rotation characteristics in gas-solid jet flows using high-speed digital imaging system
  • 2005.3-2006.3, Backward-scattered-based Laser Doppler Velocimeter & Sizer and its application in velocity, size and density measurement of irregular particles; Image-based Laser Correlation velocimeter and its application in velocity measurement of dense spray; directed by Prof. G. Gréhan
  • 2004.3-2004.9 & 2006.3-2006.10, Particle rotation in gas-solid flow in CFB riser using High-speed digital imaging technique, focused on the study of the feasibility of rotation visualization of moving particles in gas-solid flow, developing digital image processing software for particle rotation extraction, study on particle rotation characteristics in dilute-phase zone of a pilot-scale CFB riser, and so on.
