Research works:  

1. Developed nano/amorphous Mg–Fe based and Mg–Al based novel hydrogen storage composites, which discharge capacities were more than 650 mAh/g. Disclosed the electrochemical hydrogen storage mechanism of Mg-based composites. (Electroch Commun 11(2009)515; J Alloy Compds 413(2006)312)

2. Developed key preparation method and catalysis modification of complex hydrides. Direct synthesized nanocrystalline Ti-doped NaAlH4, which hydriding/dehydriding kinetics can be significantly improved, compared with the state-of-the-art NaAlH4 system. (Appl Phys Lett, 94(2009)041907 ; Int J Hydrogen Energy 33(2008)64)

3. Discovered the RE-Al catalytic active species in NaAlH4 complex hydride system, developed a series of high-performance and low-cost RE-Al based catalysts. (Chem Commun (2009)6857–6859; J Phys Chem C 113(2009)20745)
