was born in Zhejiang, P.R. China in 1976. He received the B.Eng. degree in 1998 from the Department of Optical Engineering, the Information College, Zhejiang University, Yu Quan, Hangzhou, P.R. China, and the PHD degree from School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)in 2006. Before joined NTU as a PHD candidate in 2002, he has been with MOTOROLA Global Telecom Solution Sector (GTSS), Hangzhou, P.R. China. Since Sep. 2005, He has been a research staff in NTU. He joined the Institute of VLSI design, Zhejiang University as a faculty on Sep. 2006.
He is currently an Assoc. Prof. in Zhejiang Univ. Since Jan. 2008, he has been a visiting scholar in the Mixed Signal MicroElectronics Group, Eindhoven University of Technology, where is the host of his Marie Curie Fellowship (IIF) in the year 2009.

Research work

His research interests include CMOS radio frequency integrated circuits for wireless communication, low-power phase-locked loops and clock data recovery circuits for high-speed data communications using submicron CMOS technology.
