郭伟博士,浙江大学长聘副教授。郭博士于1992年在中国天津南开大学获得微生物学学士学位,1996年在北京中国科学院微生物所获得生物化学硕士学位,2002年在美国德克萨斯大学休斯敦M.D.Anderson癌症中心获得分子遗传博士学位。2003-2010年在加州大学洛杉矶分校吴虹实验室从事博士后研究。2010-2017年在清华大学任职特别研究员、tenure-track副教授。2018年起在浙江大学任职tenured副教授。


郭博士从事干细胞和癌症的研究,精于人类和小鼠遗传学,分子生物学,细胞生物学,生物医学,及基因组学的方法。他在造血发育、白血病干细胞以及肿瘤耐药调控方面等有重要建树。他建立了第一个由PTEN缺失导致T细胞急性白血病的小鼠模型,促成临床发现只带有PTEN突变而没有NOTCH1突变的婴幼儿T细胞白血病病人。他首次分离了T细胞急性白血病干细胞,揭示出了多因子突变导致白血病干细胞形成的过程,并发现了mTOR抑制剂的双重抗癌机制。近来,郭博士课题组从临床肺肿瘤中分离出肿瘤干细胞,并发现NOTCH1信号通路调控肺肿瘤干细胞的自我更新和铂类耐药。


郭博士在NatureCell Stem CellPNASBloodCancer ResearchMolecular Cell Biology等国际权威期刊上发表了十余篇重要的论文。由于郭博士的杰出研究工作,他被邀请到世界著名的研究机构和会议作学术演讲,并且受邀做Stem cells等著名期刊的论文评审人以及国家自然基金委、欧洲捷克共和国等的基金评审人。
