College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science
My research focuses on food safety detection and control. I develop innovative, non-destructive methods to detect pathogens, toxins, pesticides, antibiotics, heavy metals, and adulterants. My work integrates aptamers with nanomaterials, spectroscopic analysis, Chemometrics, ML, and AI to enable rapid and accurate food hazard detection. I welcome collaborations in food safety, biosensing, and smart detection technologies.
