He is the researcher of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrumentation Sciences of Zhejiang University, the deputy director of the Innovative Medical Device Research Center of Shandong Institute of Technology of Zhejiang University.

In recent years, he focused on the research and development of physiological health monitoring system and biochemical sensors, including micro-nano fabrication of biosensors, micro-electronic circuit design and micro-detection system. Research on Intelligent Integration and Intelligent Detection Technology, etc. Current research directions of the research group include: 1) non-contact, wearable wireless human physiological parameters detection technology and related health monitoring and sports rehabilitation medical devices research and development; 2) biochemical sensing technology, microfluidic biochip and related in vitro diagnostic medical devices research and development; 3)  high-end electronic internal devices. As a project leader, he presided over a number of national, provincial, ministerial and enterprise entrusted projects, published more than 40 SCI/EI papers and applied for more than 20 invention patents. His first author's papers have been cited more than 100 times, and two of them have been selected as ESI highly cited papers.
