Internal medicine (cardiology), good at hypertension, coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, coronary heart disease interventional therapy, and artificial cardiac pacing therapy.

He once visited and completed postdoctoral research at the Cardiovascular Hospital of Keele University in Germany. He served as deputy director of the People's Hospital of Hetian District in Xinjiang for one year and a half, and deputy director of Cardiovascular Department of the Second Hospital of Zhejiang Medical University. He is also the member of the Chinese Society of Cardiovascular Diseases, member of the European Heart Association, member of the China Electrocardiography and Pacing Society. 

He has accumulated rich clinical experience in the clinical, teaching and research of cardiovascular medicine for 30 years. Focusing on the basic and clinical research of coronary heart disease, he presided over or participated in the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Major Science and Technology Projects of Zhejiang Province, Major Science and Technology Assistance Special Project of Zhejiang Province, Natural Foundation of Zhejiang Province, Study Abroad Foundation, Health Department Projects. He has supervised more than 20 graduate students and published more than 50 papers. One paper was ranked first among the top 10 best papers by BioMedLib. He participated in the compilation of 3 monographs. 

He has won 3 second prizes of provincial science and technology awards and 3 provincial medical and health science and technology innovation awards. In 2008, the project he led, "Research on related genes and pathogenesis of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease" won the second prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award, the second prize of Zhejiang Medical Health Science and Technology Innovation, and won the second prize for scientific and technological progress of Zhejiang University’s Anzhong award.
