Dr. Bin Li received his B.S. degree in Chemistry Engineering and Technology from Central South University in 2007. He obtained his Ph.D. from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Science in 2012 under the supervisor of Professor Zhong-Ning Chen. After obtaining his Ph.D. degree, he worked with Prof. Banglin Chen at the University of Texas at San Antonio as a postdoctoral fellow during Nov. 2012–Jul.2017. He is currently a Professor-level research scientist in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University. He has been selected to be the “Hundred Talent Program” by Zhejiang University in 2017.

He has published more than 50 papers, including ~20 first/corresponding author publications in Science, Progress in Polymer Science, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Nature communication, Chem, etc., with over  2000 citations (H-index of 21). His research interest focuses on the design and synthesis of advanced porous materials for their applications in gas storage and separation, industrial gas purification, and energy storage and conversion.
