Xiang Lu is a tenure-track Distinguished Associate Research Fellow at Center for Study on Nation and Ethnicity, Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Social Sciences (IAS), Zhejiang University. She also teaches and supervises students at the Department of Sociology. Before joining ZJU, she received her Ph.D. in Sociology from New York University.
Her research interests lie in race and ethnicity and migration studies. She is especially interested in:
