 SUFANG WANG, Ph.D. 

 

 Dr. Sufang Wang earned her Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Peking University in 2009. She studied as a visiting scholar at Graduate School of information Sciences of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013-2014 and at Department of Information Science of University of Loughborough, UK in 2007-2008 respectively. She is currently an associate professor in the School of Public Affair, Zhejiang University. Her research interests include human information behaviour, particularly the information needs, information seeking behaviour and use of information of the poor and marginalized groups in society, ICT usage of low-incomed people and digital divide, public library, and academic library. Dr. Wang has published articles in Information Research, Journal of Academic Librarianship, Journal of Library Science in China, etc. She also serves as an editorial board member for Journal of Academic Library and a reviewer for a number of Chinese journals.
