Xiaofeng Li was born in May, 1969.

He received his B.S. degree in chemistry in 1992 at Hangzhou University. He has been working as a technician at a machinery plant for 2 years since autumn, 1992. And he received his M. S. degree in physical chemistry in 1997 and his Ph. D. degree in physical chemistry in 2001 at Zhejiang University. He has been a visiting scholar at the School of Pharmacy, Nottingham University for 1 year since 2007.

He has been a lecturer since 2001 and an associate professor until now since 2006 in Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University.
