Jingdai Wang, born in 1974, male, professor, PhD tutor, director of Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Chemical Efficient Manufacturing Technology, director of the Development and Planning Office of Zhejiang University, fixed researcher of State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, Distinguished Professor in Cheung Kong Scholars Program, winner of The National Sciece Fund for Distinguished Young, The Nation's 10000 People Plan to Lead the Talent. He graduated from Zhejiang University in 1996 and received Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Zhejiang University in 1999 and 2002 respectively. He worked a visiting scholar in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Akron University in the United States. Specializing in chemical engineering, he focuses on olefin polymerization reaction project, multiphase flow reaction engineering, multiphase flow detection and information processing research, etc. He has been responsible for undertaking research projects such as the National“863”Program, the National Natural Science Fund projects and other research projects. He has been granted more than 50 patents for inventions in China and 4 for science and technology awards at provincial and ministerial levels. He has published over 30 papers in major academic journals such as AIChE J., Chem. Eng. Sci. In 2010, he was selected as "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" by the Ministry of Education and won the Eighth "Youth May Fourth Medal" of Zhejiang Province. He was elected as the eleventh member of the Youth Federation of China. In 2013, he won the twelfth Youth Science and Technology award of Zhejiang.
