Tang Zhifeng, PhD in Engineering, professor, doctoral supervisor, visiting scholar at Pennsylvania State University in the United States. Senior member of the Chinese Society of Instrumentation and the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering. Mainly engaged in teaching and research work in intelligent sensing and detection. As the person in charge, I have undertaken more than 30 research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, National Key R&D Program projects, Zhejiang Province Major Science and Technology Research Projects, Zhejiang Province Natural Science Foundation projects, and enterprise cooperation projects. I have achieved a series of theoretical and technological innovation results in the field of high-precision magnetoacoustic sensing and detection, leading the development of a series of displacement sensors and non-destructive testing instruments, breaking the foreign technological monopoly and realizing industrialization. The relevant achievements have been published in authoritative journals such as SHM, NDT&E, IEEE Transaction on UFFC, MST, Ultrasonics, etc. I have edited/co edited 2 monographs and won 3 provincial and ministerial level second prizes, as well as the first prize of technical invention from the China Instrumentation Society and the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association. I have obtained more than 20 Chinese invention patents, 3 PCT patents, and led/participated in 9 national/group/industry standards.

The laboratory conducts advanced electromagnetic acoustic sensing and detection theory and technology research on key common issues such as physical quantity measurement, non-destructive testing, and safety monitoring in the fields of industry, transportation, and life health. Combining the latest achievements of artificial intelligence such as time-frequency domain signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning, advanced sensors, detection instruments, and monitoring systems are developed to provide important technical support for the safety, intelligence, and life health of important components in industry and transportation. The laboratory has sufficient research funding and complete software and hardware experimental conditions.
