Dr. Jinqun Wu obtained PhD Economics from Zhejiang University and is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Public Affairs of Zhejiang University. He was a visiting scholar at the Sociology Department of Stanford University from 2014-2015, also at the Department of Political Science of National Taiwan University in 2011. His research mainly focuses on urban and regional governance, local governance innovation, and inter-governmental relationship. In recent years, he has undertaken successfully 7 national or province-level projects, including 3 projects of National Philosophy and Social Science Funds, and published 5 books and over 60 articles or chapters. His book, Chinese Reform of “Province Administrating Counties Directly”: Current Status Evaluation and Promoting Strategies, won the First Prize of Outstanding Achievement, Social Sciences Association of Zhejiang Province in 2014, and the Third Prize of Outstanding Achievement, Philosophy and Social Sciences of Zhejiang Province in 2015. In 2014, he won the Second Prize of Outstanding Teaching Achievement, Zhejiang University.
