Zhang Peng, professor and chair of the Department of Statistics in the School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University. Worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, University of Alberta, from 2006 to 2012. Graduated from University of Waterloo with a PhD degree in Statistics in 2006, with Master degrees in Statistics from York University in 2003 and in Finance from Naikai University in 1997. Research area covers Biostatistics and Medical Statistics, Machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision and visual recognition, Education and Finance.
