Dr. Song is mainly working on nonlinear surface waves, internal waves, wave-current interactions, ocean mixing and air-sea turbulent fluxes, and undertaking or has just undertaken around many research projects, including the National Outstanding Foundation for Young Scientists, National Natural Science Foundation, the national key research and development program of china, 863 and 973 Programs of China, and the 100-talent Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 130 papers.
