Dr. Mei Dong, born on 1983, is the lecturerue of the research center for the coastal and urban geotechnical engineering in Zhejiang University. She has obtained her Ph.D degree at RWTH Aachen University in Germany in May 2013. From June 2013 to September 2014 she has carried out the postdoc research in RWTH Aachen University. She is focusing on the research of assessment of engineering geology, 3D geological and geotechnical modeing, automatic monitoring and early warning of geological disaster etc. During her career, she has managed several research projects, industrial projects, and published more than twenty papers and three books.
