Dr. Haiping Lu is currently a researcher at College of Life Sciences, Institute of Plant Biology, Zhejiang University. He obtained PhD degree in 2016 from College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Zhejiang University. Dr. Lu conducted post-doctoral researches in Institute of Crop Sciences and Institute of Insect Sciences from 2016 to 2020. In previous studies, Dr. Lu identified the role of serotonin in plant-insect interaction. He also focused biotechnology development such as T-DNA free selection in CRISPR system. From 2021, Dr. Lu moved to College of Life Sciences. He is now working on how plants (rice) response to unfold protein in stress and investigating nitrogen use efficiency.
