My name is Kun Cao .I received a doctor's degree in engineering from Zhejiang University in 1998. From 2001 to 2002, I was funded by Krupp Foundation of Germany to carry out post-doctoral research in cooperation with Karlsruhe University and Fraunhofer Institute of Chemical Technology. From 2003 to 2015, I served as deputy director of the Institute of Polymerization and Polymer Engineering of Zhejiang University.Currently,I'm a researcher and professor in the institute of Polymerization and Polymer Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University.And I engage in the basic research and application development of advanced polymer manufacturing technology and product engineering based on process enhancement and system integration, including supercritical auxiliary polymer modification and lightweight technology, high-viscosity fluid transportation and granulation technology, carbon five fine derivative series, etc.In recent years, I has taken charge of a national special project and a national  key subject. Besides,I has applied for four National Natural Fund projects , a key project of the ministry of education science and technology research, the class tutors special fund for the doctoral program of higher education,  a key research and development program of Zhejiang province and multiple important projects of Sinopec Group.And I'm the main backbone participate in major national natural fund and  key projects.As to publications, I has published over 100 academic papers and two chapters ,and granted over 20 invention patents in SCI/TOP journals in the field of Chemical Engineering and polymers, such as AIChE Journal, Chemical Engineering Science, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Energy & Fuels, Journal of Supercritical fluid, Macromolecular RapidShe.In addition, I'm teaching courses such as polymer material chemistry and advanced polymer manufacturing technology.At the same time, I'm also a member of American Association of Plastic Engineers, a member of Zhejiang Fire Investigation Expert Group and the editorial board of Engineering Plastics Application, and a long-term reviewer of the following academic journals:Energy & Fuels, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Chemical Engineering Science, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Journal of Supercritical Fluids, Fluid Phase Equilibria, Macromolecules,Polymer, Polymer Engineering & Science, Colloids and Surfaces, Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Journal of Chemical Engineering, Journal of Polymer, etc.
