He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the China Academy of Art in 1992. He is currently the director of the Teaching and research room of Chinese Painting Department and the deputy director of the Creative Department of the Zhejiang University Art College. He has long been devoted to the teaching of Chinese painting, and has won honors such as the Zhejiang University Quality Teaching Award and outstanding class teacher. The works are drawn lessons from the Song and Yuan Dynasties, capable of both fine and freehand brushwork, and pursuing the ultimate, often involving sketch and draw from the nature, learn from the nature.
