Wei Xiang, born in 1991, is a post doc in the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University. He graduated as a doctor of Digital Art and Design, Zhejiang University. His research interests include design ideation, crowdsourcing design, and multi-route interaction. His main contributions include the process model of design ideation, crowdsourcing design methods, and multi-route communication of information. Wei Xiang has published 9 papers on top-rated journals involving Design Studies, Creativity Research Journal, and International Journal of Human Computer Studies, among which 6 are cited by SCI, 1 is cited by SSCI, and 2 are cited by EI. He also holds four patents and developed several prototype systems. Wei Xiang participated in the research of two National Science Foundation projects and one National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program). He gave speeches in two international conferences, and joined in the review of papers in Computers in Human Behavior, Research in Engineering Design, and Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
