Baohong Wang received her Ph.D. under the guide of Academician Lanjuan Li from the Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. From her doctoral work, she developed his long-term interest in symbiotic gut microbes in health and liver disease. Currently, she is a young research PI in the national collaborative innovation center for Diagnosis and Treatment of the infectious diseases at the first affiliated hospital of medical school, Zhejiang University, where she is in charge of Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (NO. R16H260001), National Science Foundation for Young Scientists of China (NO. 30901190, 82170668) and National Key&D program of China (2021YFA1301001). She also a young corresponding editor of Journal Engineering (IF12.58) and a editor board member of Journal Infectious Microbes & Diseases.
