Pro.Jun-fen Fu is the vice president of Children’s Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Chief Physician and Director of Endocrinology Department of Children's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She is a tutor of PhD, MD and professor of Zhejiang University. She is also the Zhejiang provincial New Century 151 Talent, the current secretary general of APPES (Asia Pacific Pediatric Endocrine Society), past two terms of council member of 6th-7th APPES, the vice president of Chinese Society Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolic, the Associate Director in professional board of Chinese Medical Association of Adolescent Medicine (CMAAM), the vice president of collaborative group of Chinese children diabetes, member of Chinese Medical Association of type 1 diabetes, the secretary and committee member of Zhejiang Pediatric society, the vice chairman of Zhejiang Pediatric Endocrine Society. She has studied in Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States for research. Her research is focused on the prevention and treatment of obesity and diabetes in Children. She also did some clinical researches in short stature, precocious puberty and DSD (disorder of sexual development). She is the leader of a key non-communicable diseases project which sponsored by the National Key Research and Development Programme of CHINA (2016YFC1305300). She has implemented 11 medical programs which are supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and over 20 programs are encompassed by National Science & Technology Sub-program during the 11th and 12th Five-year Plan Period, International S&T Cooperation Program of China, Major Science and Technology Projects of Zhejiang Province and National Natural Science Foundation Program of Zhejiang Province. In addition, one program was granted with National Science and Technology Progress Award. One research program have won first prize, two programs second prize in Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Innovation. She has published more than 80 papers in the journals like, Diabetologia, International Journal of Obesity, Clinical Endocrinology, Curr Diab Rep, and so on, within recent 15 years.
