Dr Cao Yanpeng
School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University , Zhejiang University "Hundred Talents Program."
Dr Yanpeng Cao received the M.Sc. degree in control engineering and the Ph.D. degree in computer vision from the University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K., in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
He was with a number of research and development institutes, such as the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore, Mtech Imaging Ptd. Ltd., Singapore, and the National University of Ireland Maynooth, Ireland. He is currently a Research Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. His current research interests include infrared imaging, sensor fusion, image processing, and 3-D reconstruction. At present, he has obtained 1 overseas (European) invention patent and has published over 50 SCI / EI papers.
