Chao Yu, "100 Talents Program" Principal Investigator and Ph.D. supervisor of the College of Life Science, Zhejiang University. The lab uses genome-modified mouse models to study the mechanisms of germcell specification, development and meiosis, and has elucidated the key mechanisms of homologous chromosome recombination, oocyte development, activation and meiosis, and the maternal-zygotic transition in mammals. The research results has been published in many top journals, such as Science，Nature Structural & Molecular Biology，Science Advances，Cell Research，Nature Communications, etc.
