SHORT-BIOGRAPHY:

Gang Li is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Marine Sciences, Zhejiang University, China. His research interests include marine magnetotelluric and controlled-source electromagnetic methods and the joint multigeophysical data inversion. He studied geophysics in Shandong University of Science and Technology with first class scholarships from 2005 to 2009. He received his M.S. degree in solid Earth Physics in 2012 from Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (GUCAS) & Institute of Geology and Geophysics Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS). He got his Ph.D. degree in marine Geophysics at Ocean University of China (OUC) in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, he was an Assistant Researcher with the Ocean University of China. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the GEOMAR - Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, Keil, Germany, which is supported by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and China Scholarship Council. He currently serves as the associate editor of Exploration Geophysics and Bulletin of Geophysics and Oceanography [BGO, formerly Bollettino di Geofisica Teorica ed Applicata (BGTA)]. He is a member of Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE). He is also a winner of SEG/Kenneth L. Zonge Scholarship(2014-2015) and SEG/Gerald W. Hohmann Memorial Scholarship(2013-2014).
