Research Interests:
I am a condensed matter theorist working on quantum dynamics and topological properties of quantum systems. My current interest is the development of physical relation between information theoretic quantities and properties of many body system. The toolbox involves theory of mesoscopic physics and strongly correlated systems. My long-term interest has been on topological and geometric effects in characterizing quantum matter. They stem from lattice models for crystal/quasicrystal and effective pseudospin models. In the past, I have studied Floquet dynamics for quantum phases with artificial gauge fields, renormalization group study of correlation effects in two-dimensional Bose gas, Landau-Zener transition between topological bands and dynamics of disordered cold gas.
