Sangruo Huang is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Strategic Communication at the College of Media and International Culture, Zhejiang University. She received her PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota, MA in Public Relations from Michigan State University, and BA in Advertising from Zhejiang University. She was a senior visiting scholar to Dentsu Group, Tokyo, Japan. Her research interests include brand communication, advertising and consumer psychology, and spiritual consumption. Dr. Huang is a member of the Standing Committee of the China Advertising Association Academic Commission, a member of the American Academy of Advertising and the European Advertising Academy. She has received several competitive national grants for her research projects, and has published in international journals and conference proceedings in advertising and psychology.
