Tong Hongyan , MD, PhD, chief physician, doctoral supervisor, Professor of Zhejiang University. Professor Tong obtained his undergraduate degree in clinical medicine from Zhejiang Medical University in 1993, and she obtained her doctorate degree from Zhejiang University Medical College in 2003.Since 1993, she has worked in the Department of Hematology, the first affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College, now she is the director of MDS center and deputy director of hematology department. With 25 years clinic experience, Professor Tong has excellent clinical and basic research results in the field of malignant myeloid blood tumors especially MDS.Professor Tong mainly engaged in malignant hematologic disease, especially myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), clinical and basic research.
