Jin-Ming Wu received his B. S. (1994), M. S. (1996) and Ph. D. (1999) in Materials Science from. After two years’ postdoctoral training in the Biomedical Materials Lab of Okayama University, Japan, with Professor Akiyoshi Osaka, he was promoted to Associate Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University in 2002. He worked as a Research Associate in with Dr. Min Wang in 2005 and as a Humboldt Research Fellow in Max-Planck Institute Colloids and Interfaces () with Professor Bernd M. Smarsly and Professor Markus Antonietti during 2006~2007. In 2010, he was promoted to Professor. Dr. Wu is the author or co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers. His research interests include surface modifications of titanium alloys for biomedical applications, low-temperature fabrication and photocatalytic, photoelectrochemical characterizations of titania-based thin films, and solution combustion synthesis for environmental and energy applications.
