Dr. Wei Wu, an associate professor, master tutor, is mainly engaged in teaching and research focused on science and technology policy, higher education, innovation management and decision-making consulting. Since 2013, he has worked in the China‘s Science, Technology and Education Policy Institute of Zhejiang University. He is currently the deputy director of the Institute of Science and Education Innovation, and in 2014 he was promoted to the title of “Associate Researcher”. He is also a member of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy. Since 2013, he has hosted more than 10 research projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels, and he has led or mainly participated in more than 20 consulting projects of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Zhejiang Province. Meanwhile, he has taken the lead in writing or submitting more than 70 research reports on the development strategies to the Ministry of National Committee, Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang University, many of which received instructions from leaders at all levels. Moreover, he published more than 30 papers (including co-authors), published 4 books (including co-authors) and wrote several newspaper articles and self-media articles. His current main research interests include the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the carrier of major scientific and technological innovations, the development strategy of colleges and universities facing 2035 and the integration of science and education.
