Dr. Xiaoxi Wang is currently a Junior Professor (tenure-track), at Department of Agricultural Economics and Management, Zhejiang University, a member of the C9 League. He is Guest Senior Researcher at the working group of Land Use and Resilience at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). He works on MAgPIE (Model of Agricultural Production and its Impact on the Environment) to analyze various topics related to climate adaptation and mitigation from a food-system perspective. From November 2021, he serves as Affiliated Editor at World Development that ranks 30/376 in Economics journals. He has published peer-review articles in Nature Aging, Ecological Economics, World Development, Nature Sustainability, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Environmental Science and Technology, Scientific Reports, Geoscientific Model Development, etc. His research interests are about Food Systems, Economic Modeling, Integrated Assessment Modeling, Climate Impacts, and Mitigation Policies.
