Wencai Yang, Born in Guangdong Province, Professor in Zhejiang University, Academician of Chinese Academy of Science.

         Graduated from The Peking Institute of Geology in 1964.

         Ph. D degree on geophysics at McGill University of Canada in 1984

         Post-doctoral research at Imperial College of United Kingdom During 1987-1988

         Director of the Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration During 1992-95

         Professor at the Institute of Geology, CAGS and a vice-director of CCSD program during       1996-2016

         Professor at Zhejiang University in 2017-2022.
