Dr. Jin Zhang is a Principle Investigator of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He got his PhD from University of California, Los Angeles in 2011, and did his postdoc with Dr. George Daley from 2012 to 2017 at Harvard Medical School/ Boston Children’s Hospital Stem Cell Program. He was also a scientist at Amgen Inc. and led the team to establish an iPS platform for novel drug target discovery. His current research interests are 1) the molecular mechanisms of stem cell pluripotency; 2) metabolic regulation of stem cell fate; 3) iPS diseaes modeling. His publication at Cell Stem Cell, Cell Metabolism, Cell Report, EMBO Journal, Nature Protocol, Cell Report and other top journals have been cited for more than 2000 times.  He has been invited to give talks at many international conferences including the International Society of Stem Cell Research 2016 Annual Meeting at San Francisco. He was also the president of the Harvard Medical School – Chinese Scholars and Scientist Association in 2014-2015.
