2012 年本科毕业于北京大学考古文博学院，后赴英国剑桥大学攻读硕士、博士学位，植物考古和新石器考古方向，研究兴趣围绕我国南、北方农业起源、早期农作物跨区域传播、早期食物加工方式、新石器时代陶器制作技术、植物印痕鉴定、植硅体分析、环境考古等方面内容，曾主持或参与江苏三星村遗址、浙江宁波汶溪遗址、湖北石家河古城遗址、罗马尼亚多布若瓦茨遗址、亚美尼亚Ararat Plain Southeast、乌克兰乌萨托瓦等多个国内外考古遗址的植物浮选或印痕鉴定工作。

近五年来在国际知名出版社Springer出版个人英文专著1部，以第一作者身份发表中英文期刊学术论文十余篇，获批国家社科基金等各级科研课题十余项。其中，关于上山文化稻作农业起源研究的最新成果被新华社、浙江电视台新闻频道、浙江大学视频号、“求是风采”（浙江大学学术委员会官方号）等十余个国家级、省级平台报道，多篇文章被人大复印资料、国际植硅体协会官网、中国文物报、人民日报浙大号等平台转载。
