Dissertation: “Fulfillment in Perception: A Critique of Alva Noë’s Enactive View”

In my dissertation I examine the connections between Alva Noë’s enactive view of perception and Edmund Husserl’s phenomenology of perception. I find various Husserlian motifs in Noë’s enactive view and argue that the enactive view can be improved by incorporating and developing further Husserlian ideas, especially the idea of fulfillment.
