Dr. Shen, born in 1977, obtained his bachelor and PhD degree in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1999 and 2004. Then he went to LSU University as an visiting visitor in 2007. His main research interest lies in structural engineering and wind engineering, and mechanics behavior of transmission tower. He is the principal investigator of 3 Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 100 important research projects. He has published more than 80 journal (SCI/EI indexd) papers.
