Prof. Yunfan Guo received her bachelor degree in College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Lanzhou University in 2016. She received her Ph.D. degree in Prof. Zhongfan Liu and Prof. Hailin Peng’s group in College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University. After graduation, she continued her postdoctoral research in Prof. Jing Kong’s group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2021, she joined School of Micro-Nano Electronics of Zhejiang University. Her research focuses on Synthesis and Manipulation of Low-dimensional Semiconductors; Design and Property Studies of New Low-dimensional Semiconductors; More Moore and More than Moore Device Materials. She has published over 20 papers, including over 9 papers published on Nature Nanotechnology, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. (2 papers), Advanced Materials (3 papers), J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Nano, Small as a first author or corresponding author. Her scientific achievements have been widely reported by famous social medias such Eurekalert, MIT News, Phys.Org. She also served as a topic editor for journal Crystals. Her group has close and long-term collaboration with many famous universities in China and abroad, such as MIT, Stanford University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Purdue University, Penn State University, etc.
